- Age 3 – Started Dancing at Mavis Booth School of Dance. Wetherby.
- Age 4 – Started competing in Dancing Competitions throughout Yorkshire winning numerous medals and trophies
- Age 7- Successfully auditioned for my first professional theatre show and played the part of Gretl in The Sound of Music @ Leeds Grand Theatre
- Age 11 to 16 – North of England Junior and Senior Modern and Tap Champion which I won numerous times!
- Age 16-18 – Wakefield College gaining a National Diploma in Performing Arts and A-Level Dance
- Age 18-21 – I was offered a place to train @ the prestigious ‘London Studio Centre’ London with a full scholarship. I studied Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lindy Hop, Partner work, Tap, Contemporary, Pilates, Singing, Drama and qualified with a Diploma in Musical Theatre and Dance.
- Age 21 – I started my professional career as a dancer and singer. Shows included..

- Maiden Voyage of P&O Ventura cruise ship. (With Dame Helen Mirren, Jimmy Carr and Marco Pierre White)
- Dancer in Pantomimes for Qdos Entertainment in Aberdeen, Southampton, Bristol, Sunderland, Wimbledon, Bradford, Wolverhampton – Working with Jim Davidson, Darren Day, Billy Pearce, John Virgo, Rula Lenska, , John Nettles, John Challis and some of the cast from Emmerdale,Home and Away and Neighbours!
- Legends Dancer – Blackpool, Leeds Armouries and numerous cooperate shows throughout the UK
- Dancer/Singer for Spirit Productions. I toured all the Number 1 theatres in the Uk with the show ‘Spirit of Broadway’ including the West End. We did a European Arena Tour, I performed in theatres across the USA, Brazil, India, Monaco and The Falls Casino – Niagra-Canada We also performed on many popular tv shows throughout the world.
- 2010/11 Was the last time I performed as a professional artist. It was Pantomime @ The Alhambra Theatre, Bradford. Snow White and the 7 Dwarves and I played Snow White opposite Billy Pearce.
- November 2010 – My Zumba Career was born by training to be a Zumba Instructor. My training was in Stockport, and I loved every minute.
- I am fully qualified to teach, Zumba, Zumba Toning, Zumba Sentao, Strictly Fitsteps, Bokwa and Cheerobics.
- February 28th 2011..I brought Zumba to the Wetherby area.
- March 2020 – Kt Dance Fit Live was born. (Online and On demand Fitness sessions) and people now take my classes in the Uk, Ireland, Florida, Dubai, Luxembourg, Spain and France.
- I celebrated 10 successful years of Kt Dance Fit in February 2021
- I am the longest established and most successful Dance Fitness Instructor in the area and beyond!
- MY MISSION I still love teaching Zumba now as much as I did 10 years ago when I first started. I love that Zumba has changed many peoples lives for the better, improving their health, body shape and mental health. People also gain friends by coming to my classes. Everyone is a different age, shape and size, and a different fitness level, but we all come together in a class, we take it at our own pace, we have a giggle and we feel amazing when we leave! Everyone is made to feel really welcome and through all my experience I have gained, I make all of my routines easy to follow, so that get a good workout and you come back wanting more.
